Step-by-step guides for installing, importing a demo and customising your hotel website.
1. Install
Upload the theme, child theme and the HotelResort Core plugin from Appearance → Themes and Plugins → Add New, then activate.
2. Import a demo
Rooms → Demo Import. Tick the confirmation box and choose a demo; progress is shown step by step and it can be removed again.
3. Add your rooms
Rooms → Add New. Set the price, guests, bed type and amenities, then add photos and a gallery.
4. Customise
Appearance → Customize → HotelResort Colors & Hero. Assign menus under Appearance → Menus.
5. Inquiry form
Add the [hotelresort_inquiry] shortcode to any page. Inquiries are emailed to the site admin; use a filter to send them elsewhere.
6. Translate
Load the included .pot files into Loco Translate or Poedit and save your language files.
